L’Agència de Seguretat i Emergències de la Generalitat Valenciana ha emès un avís especial davant l’arribada a la Comunitat Valenciana d’un episodi de pluges intenses a partir de hui dijous, que podria acumular grans quantitats d’aigua en poques hores.

Informació preventiva específica:
- No circular pels voltants del riu Algar i evitar creuar els ponts pel risc de crescuda. Fer cas de les senyalitzacions.
- No aparcar a la zona del “Xarco” si persisteixen les pluges.
- Evitar circular pels camins rurals que fiten amb els barrancs.
- Alerta amb les indicacions que es puguen produir al pas inferior del carrer Garganes.
De moment, l’activitat escolar, esportiva i la Fira EcoAltea seguiran la seua agenda amb normalitat, però es donarà informació permanentment davant qualsevol canvi.
Benestar Social posa en marxa el seu protocol per atendre les persones que ho necessiten.
Informació preventiva general:
- Fer cas a les senyalitzacions.
- Informar-se sobre el nivell de risc i l’evolució de la situació a través dels mitjans de comunicació.
- Revisar l’habitatge i netejar les canalitzacions.
- Retirar els vehicles de les zones que puguen inundar-se.
- No utilitzar els vehicles i, en cas de necessitat, circular per carreteres principals, moderant la velocitat, i mai creuar amb el cotxe trams que estiguen inundats.
- No exposar-se en la línia de costa en cas de temporal.
- Suspendre totes aquelles activitats que tinguen previstes a l’aire lliure o que exigisquen desplaçaments.
L’Ajuntament d’Altea anirà actualitzant la informació a través de les seues xarxes socials i mitjans de comunicació.

Special alert in case of heavy rains
The Agency of Security and Emergencies of the Generalitat Valenciana has emitted a special warning due to the arrival in the Valencian Community of an intense rainy episode starting today Thursday, which could accumulate large amounts of water in a few hours.

Specific preventive information:
- Do not circulate in the surroundings of the Algar river and avoid crossing bridges due to the risk of rising water. Pay attention to the signs.
- Do not park in the “Xarco” area if the rains persist.
- Avoid driving along the rural roads that delimit with the ravines.
- Alert with the indications that may occur in the underpass of the Garganes Street.
For the moment, the school activity, sports and the EcoAltea fair will keep their agenda with normality, but information will be given permanently before any change.
Social Welfare implements its protocol to assist those who need it.
General preventive information:
- Pay attention to the signs.
- Inform yourself about the level of risk and the evolution of the situation through the media.
- Check the house and clean the channelling.
- Remove vehicles from areas that could be flooded.
- Do not use vehicles and, if necessary, drive on main roads, moderating speed, and never cross with the car sections that are flooded.
- Do not expose yourself on the coastline in case of storms.
- Suspend all activities that are planned outdoors or that require displacement.
