La Agencia de Seguridad y Emergencias de la Generalitat Valenciana ha emitido un aviso especial ante la llegada en la Comunidad Valenciana de un episodio de lluvias intensas a partir de hoy jueves, que podría acumular grandes cantidades de agua en pocas horas.

Información preventiva específica:
- No circular por los alrededores del río Algar y evitar cruzar los puentes por el riesgo de crecida. Hacer caso de las señalizaciones.
- No aparcar en la zona del “Xarco” si persisten las lluvias.
- Evitar circular por los caminos rurales que lindan con los barrancos.
- Prestar atención a las indicaciones que se puedan producir en el paso inferior de la calle Garganes.
De momento, la actividad escolar, deportiva y la Feria EcoAltea seguirán su agenda con normalidad, pero se dará información permanentemente ante cualquier cambio.
Bienestar Social pone en marcha su protocolo para atender a las personas que lo necesitan.
Información preventiva general:
- Hacer caso a las señalizaciones.
- Informarse sobre el nivel de riesgo y la evolución de la situación a través de los medios de comunicación.
- Revisar la vivienda y limpiar las canalizaciones.
- Retirar los vehículos de las zonas que puedan inundarse.
- No utilizar los vehículos y, en caso de necesidad, circular por carreteras principales, moderando la velocidad, y nunca cruzar con el coche tramos que estén inundados.
- No exponerse en la línea de costa en caso de temporal.
- Suspender todas aquellas actividades que tengan previstas al aire libre o que exijan desplazamientos.
El Ayuntamiento de Altea irá actualizando la información a través de sus redes sociales y medios de comunicación.

- Suspend all activities that are planned outdoors or that require displacement.
